Minolta Maxxum is the Sony Alpha mount the same?
I just got a minolta maxxum 7000 and I know that Sony took over Minolta Camera branch. when I I was reading on the Maxxum, PPL seem to speak of them as the same thing.
All lenses made for Minolta Maxxum Series and lenses for Konica-Minolta 5D & 7D DSLR will be at home in any Digital Slr camera from Sony. The Sony Web site lists more than 100 compatible goals.
