Lomography effects how to get a regular Digital Slr camera?
I'm starting to get interested in lomography, and I wondered if I could do it with a regular camera. (I have a digital SLR that work?) All lomography photos I've seen looks like an extreme contrast medium high, and deepened depth of field. Is there a way to not buy a Lomography camera and get the same results? Im getting back into photography after a long break and I am very rusty! Thanks to everyone who answers!
Some of the high contrast and colors are crazy is because the film was cross processed. That means that the color print film developed in the "wrong" for the processing of chemicals such as slides. Lomography (derived from the LOMO company name) is a marketing thing to re-rotate the photo in a counter (like not enough was done in the 1980s can be see some examples of the picture magazines of the time.)
