Can someone please recommend a low cost Shotgun Mic? Husband wants a boom microphone for Christmas?
Or should be buying more than being a better boom microphone? Less than $ 250.
I have two Audio Technica ATR55 shotguns I have at Best Buy for $ 50 each. They are OK, but certainly not the best quality that you can get. Senheiser makes some Very Good, but expensive. Microphones My advice is the best you can afford. People Video forgive Shakey, Shakey forgive no audio. As for B & H photo and video. They have good prices and most models for you to compare and make the right decision. Also ask your husband if he has a preference, some of our very particular about our equipment, and would prefer a certificate Gift to the correct model instead of a wrong. Tony Noon Noon Productions
