Is there a Shutter Release cable that works for both a film and Digital Slr camera's?
Both are from Canon. And if not then two cables for Digital and film that are really cheap, and where to buy them!
The short answer is yes.
The problem with Canon releases is that there are two different types, so you have to make sure you get the proper one. The Rebel series uses a mini phone plug, looks like headphone plug. The 10d-50d, and the 1 series, use an entirely different 3 pin connector.
A basic version of either one is less than $10 on ebay.
