I have a question regarding mini disc used in Handy Cam?
I used my handycam when I went on vacation last year and the disc was playing just fine in the handycam, when I got home, it just won't play anymore, not in the DVD player or even in the handycam. All the others played, but two. It is terrible that the 2 discs that won't play are the 2 with the best sceneries. I had them in their cases so they won't get damaged. I have no idea what happened. Is there anything I can do?
many factors to consider..... but i guess, one reason is you forgot to finalize the footage before removing the disk. this is true when you're using an R (recordable only) discs but not necessary with an RW (rewriteable) discs.
another probable cause is the discs might have a factory defect (but that's very slim considering the disc is expensively priced).
best is to go to a service center (of the camcorder brand) and there they can and will explain everything to you.
