What is a good camera for beginners? Not a point and shoot, but a Digital Slr?
I'm trying to avoid spending a thousand, I have a $300 limit at Best Buy lol! Or perhaps a good place to get a second hand camera in Good Condition even!
Oh yeah, I heard Nikon was good too. I love my Canon cameras, but I'm willing to make a change if it means I can getting started shooting more professionally! Thanks for the advice, I'll look in to it, and other answers are still welcome!
Go for the Nikon D40, it may be slightly over the $300 budget but this camera is a great investment, will last you a long time, the lens it comes with and any other lenses you buy will be compatible with other Nikons in the future.
I prefer the D40 over the higher resolution D40x, the 6.4 megapixel sensor is hard to beat, I continue to take great pictures with it.
